Bob's Super Smooth Vodka - Grapefruit Highball Recipe

Bob’s Super Smooth Vodka recently launched in Canada.  It’s a smooth, easy to drink vodka that is triple distilled, charcoal filtered and made with Ontario spring water. Unlike traditional vodka, made from potatoes, grain or corn, Bob’s Super Smooth is made from whey, making it grain free, lactose-free and gluten-free.  The result is a silky smooth 40.5% alc./vol vodka.   Silky smooth vodka? Definitely, calls for cocktails.  We put Bob’s Super Smooth Vodka to the test with our own custom cocktail recipe. Having just come back from Japan we were inspired by the many Japanese highballs we had. A simple drink made of your choice liquor (usually whiskey or shochu), ice, soda water and often flavoured with fruit. A light refreshing cocktail perfect for summer! Bob's Super Smooth Vodka makes a great base in our twist on the highball. A super simple recipe that can easily be multiplied to serve at brunch or cottage.

GRAPEFRUIT "HIGHBALL" WITH BOB'S SUPER SMOOTH VODKA

INGREDIENTS:

yield: Makes 1 (multiply as needed)

• 1 oz Bob's Super Smooth Vodka
• 1 oz Grapefruit juice with pulp (about 1/2 a small grapefruit)
• 0.5 oz Grapefruit Cordial
• Ice
• Soda water

DIRECTIONS:

In a serving glass add ice, vodka, grapefruit juice & grapefruit cordial. Top off the glass with soda water. If you like your cocktails on the sweeter side feel free to add more cordial.
